     One of our favorite things to do at Dr Custom Werx is Solid Axle Swaps. Part of being well versed in vehicle dynamics is knowing strengths and weaknesses of parts within the system. That includes knowing if, when, where, and why certain axles fit the application at hand. Solid Axle Swaps can be done in almost any vehicle with a variety of axles to choose from. Fabricated steel axles are often a good choice due to the overall strength with aftermarket support at competitive prices. It is sometimes more cost effective to use Toyota axles or Dana Spicer axles as they come in an extremely wide variety of strengths, sizes and orientations. Depending on the Vehicle or axle, different transfer cases can be swapped in or axle housings can be custom modified to suit the project at hand.
